The Daoist Outlook・111
Yang Earth Dog Moon
We did it, the bulk of the heat is behind us. If you've been following along this whole time, then you would know we've been working our way home to close out the year in comfort. There's no need to be out and running about. Why not get cozy in front of the fire with a warm cup of cocoa instead?

As for the poetry of the moment, this moon is like a loyal pet dog. Imagine coming home after a long day's work and your Golden Retriever jumps up to greet you at the door. Isn't that sweet? This is why we asked you to manage your reserves - you still have to take your dog out for a walk.
To make this make sense, Fall is nearly finished - the end is in sight. Why on earth would you start anything new? The year's almost complete, this is the time for routines and rituals. Now circle around your favorite floor mat a few times and lay down for the night. That'a boy.
