The Daoist Outlook・097
Full Wood Horse Moon
BOOM! If only we could start this edition off with a sound effect, or better yet, a theme song. This is the peak of Mount Everest - the highest point of the year. We've made it. You can pat yourself on the back. Great job! Now we get to watch the mushroom cloud and steer clear of the fall out.

As for the poetry of the moment, go ahead, take a breather. With the worst of the wave behind us, now we get to coast our way down the slopes, avoid all the alpines, and hope for a smooth descent back to base camp intact. All that's left from there is that iconic trot into the sunset.
To make this make sense, let your foot off the gas. You don't need to push it any further. Ease up a bit, coast for a moment and enjoy the ride on cruise control. This is where you can take a long view and navigate potholes ahead of time. Assuming no other jerks bump us off the road along the way, things should move smooth through the Autumn moons.
