The Daoist Outlook・096
Waxing Wood Horse Moon
It's Summer Solstice season, the absolute peak of our annual solar cycle - you doing okay? Whether you're Kid Icarus or Tony Montana from Scarface, the story remains the same, "Careful not to fly too high." You'd be better off floating and coasting at a steady cruising altitude for the rest of this phase.

As for the poetry of the moment, don't over extend yourself. Yang has met its natural limit. To reach out from beyond this point is a sure fire way to lose your roots - and you wouldn't want to take a tumble this late in the race. The trick is to slow down, and who knows, maybe what we want will come to us.
To make this make sense, tend to your garden. You'll have a better chance of attracting butterflies than catching them. There's no point in reaching for things you couldn't keep or maintain in the first place - perhaps it'd be best to simplify your life and position yourself for a gentle glide into the sunset.
