Waxing Wood Horse Moon

It's Summer Solstice season, the absolute peak of our annual solar cycle - you doing okay? Whether you're Kid Icarus or Tony Montana from Scarface, the story remains the same, "Careful not to fly too high." You'd be better off floating and coasting at a steady cruising altitude for the rest of this phase.

As for the poetry of the moment, don't over extend yourself. Yang has met its natural limit. To reach out from beyond this point is a sure fire way to lose your roots - and you wouldn't want to take a tumble this late in the race. The trick is to slow down, and who knows, maybe what we want will come to us.
To make this make sense, tend to your garden. You'll have a better chance of attracting butterflies than catching them. There's no point in reaching for things you couldn't keep or maintain in the first place - perhaps it'd be best to simplify your life and position yourself for a gentle glide into the sunset.

✧ Riding High ✧

Happy Dragon Boat!    Each and every year on the Fifth Day of the Fifth Moon, we get to enjoy a Dragon Boat Festival. It's common to wrap and steam bundles of glutinous rice called Zong Zi, and share them amongst neighbors. This is the time to celebrate the pinnacle of Yang - where all systems are GO!    As for the poetry of the moment, let's get going! It's time to race - if not with others...

Yang Wood Horse Moon    Peek-a-Boo Pony! It's the Yang Wood Horse Moon, the peak of Summer. If we include this Fire Horse Year as a base, that puts a Double Yang Horse in our hands! Careful, this double Yang Wood & Fire Horse combo is especially volatile - tensions WILL explode! We're in for a double Yang rodeo ride!    As for the poetry of the moment, try to tip toe through the tulips. Hors...

The Snake Moon Wanes    As we phase out of the first moon of Summer and gallop into the Solstice, think of this little moment as the calm before the storm. Once it's "Go Time," nature won't care if you're ready or not - the heat is coming. The tail end of a Snake is soft and could be compared to that precious seed of Yin that sits within the fat belly of Yang - it's probably a good idea to ch...
