The Double Goat Moon

Here we go again. This is the re-run month we've been going on about. If you didn't have enough fun the first round, here's your chance to get right back on the ride for another run. What do you think you'd do differently this time around? What do you think would play out in the exact same way?

As for the poetry of the moment, think of this doubled lunar phase as your chance to cross all of your T's and dot all of your I's. The last moon was like a first draft, whereas this moon is more like a final thesis. Take a moment to consider what you learned this Summer and where it can prove useful in the Winter. This is your opportunity to set a tone that will carry you through the Autumn months back into the murky abyss of Winter Yin.
If we could sum up this vibe in three words, they would be "Use it wisely." Second chances are never promised, so when they arise, you want to be on top of them. Recognize your blessings, be grateful for resolutions, and then take clear and decisive action towards a functional finish. You don't want to drag loose ends into a Fire Rat Winter.

✧ Round Two ✧

Get It Done: Use your strategy, not your strength.
Double Check:
Make sure everything's done correctly.
Hang your Hat:
Enjoy the fleeting feeling of completion.
Get Some Rest: A twenty minute nap can make miracles.
Stay Alert: Don't let anything new spring up on you.

Waxing Water Snake    There was once a Snake caught in a fire. A brave man saved the Snake by pulling it from the blaze, but in the process, the Snake bit the man and killed him with poison. Perhaps we could fault the Snake, but it's only natural for it to bite. Perhaps we could fault the brave man, but he only wanted to help.     As for the poetry of the moment, be careful! If you want to s...

Yin Water Snake Moon    Wow, Snake moon - the first moon of Summer! We often talk about how a Snake is really just the tail of a Dragon, but Snakes also have a personality of their own. On good days, they're wise, intuitive, attentive, intelligent, and caring. On bad days, however, they could be down right mean, manic, and manipulative - their misconduct is literally biblical. Care for an app...

Dragon Moon Wanes    Careful now, don't let the Dragon fool you. Remember at the beginning of the moon when we told you that the Dragon was really, really big? Well, this is where it shows up - you thought the Dragon was done, but NOPE! We still have another moon to go! You thought that was a Snake moon coming next? Better look again... that's not a snake - that's the Dragon's tail!    As fo...
