Double Snake Moon Wanes

The days are slow but the years are fast; can you believe that it's already Summer?! Relative to your position on this planet, you may not even notice the heat, but a lap around the sun is a lap around the sun. If you feel like the seasons are lagging, try to relate this experience to the rabbit napping while the turtle keeps on trucking along. Don't worry, we have an extra goat moon this summer for leap year - maybe you can catch up.

As for the poetry of the moment, it's time to put your crocs in sport mode. We're well past the warm up phase of the year and finally primed for action! This is the time to dig into your projects and pump up the productivity. With the Yang Water Horse moon waiting around the corner, you're going to want to hit this next phase running. It's go time, guys!
By in large, the summer solstice pretty much always aligns with the horse moon - which makes perfect sense. Horses are known for their power and drive, so it fits perfectly with the flavor of this phase. With all of that in mind, are you ready for action? You better lace up those running shoes, because things are about to pick up!

✧ Have a Spectacular Summer ✧

Start Early: Rise with the sun to greet the new day.
Hard Things First: Save all the easy tasks for last.
Take a Break: Kindergarden was right, naps rock!
Invest in Friends: You might need them this Winter.
Get Good Rest: Work hard, play hard, sleep deep.

The Horse Moon Wanes    Have you ever noticed that some horses wear blinders? They're these tiny little flaps of black leather that block off the sides of a horses eyes to shield their periferal vision. They're common amongst service horses and calvary. It keeps them focused and it prevents them from getting overly stimulated.    As for the poetry of the moment, take some time to reflect on ...

Full Wood Horse Moon    BOOM! If only we could start this edition off with a sound effect, or better yet, a theme song. This is the peak of Mount Everest - the highest point of the year. We've made it. You can pat yourself on the back. Great job! Now we get to watch the mushroom cloud and steer clear of the fall out.     As for the poetry of the moment, go ahead, take a breather. With the wo...

Waxing Wood Horse Moon   It's Summer Solstice season, the absolute peak of our annual solar cycle - you doing okay? Whether you're Kid Icarus or Tony Montana from Scarface, the story remains the same, "Careful not to fly too high." You'd be better off floating and coasting at a steady cruising altitude for the rest of this phase.    As for the poetry of the moment, don't over extend yourself...
