Waxing Wood Dog Moon

What's the strongest force in the universe? Is it magnetism, electricity, gravity? What about spirit, empathy, or love? From a modern Daoist perpective, it's none of the above. We value authenticity. Give us the real $#!&. Especially with winter right around the corner. You can't keep warm on a promise - we want substance.

While riding a chilly, wood dog moon, authenticity is key. We're here at the tail end of autumn, so your bark better have some bite. You can't pack your pantry on thoughts and prayers alone. You need a real plan followed by real actions that get real results. It takes grit to conquer the cold. Anything fake or fashionable is sure to fail. Are you up to the task? Consider winter as your ultimate integrity test.

✧ Pre-Winter Authenticity Check ✧

Cai - 菜: How much you consume v. how much you produce.
Di - 地: The integrity and stability of your living environment.
Fa - 發: The efficiency and effectiveness of your workflow.
Lü - 侶: The function and fluency of your community.

It keeps them focused and it prevents them from getting overly stimulated.    As for the poetry of the moment, take some time to reflect on ...

Full Wood Horse Moon    BOOM! If only we could start this edition off with a sound effect, or better yet, a theme song. This is the peak of Mount Everest - the highest point of the year. We've made it. You can pat yourself on the back. Great job! Now we get to watch the mushroom cloud and steer clear of the fall out.     As for the poetry of the moment, go ahead, take a breather. With the wo...

Waxing Wood Horse Moon   It's Summer Solstice season, the absolute peak of our annual solar cycle - you doing okay? Whether you're Kid Icarus or Tony Montana from Scarface, the story remains the same, "Careful not to fly too high." You'd be better off floating and coasting at a steady cruising altitude for the rest of this phase.    As for the poetry of the moment, don't over extend yourself...
