010. Yin Fire Rooster Moon

Sep 07, 2026

The heat is changing. Summer's wild fire is beginning to settle, but don't mistake that for a weakness. Yin Fire Rooster is like the final polishing of a katana blade before it's put away for Winter. This month isn't about making big moves or stealing the spotlight. It's about refinement. Look carefully. Tighten loose ends. Finish what you've started. Humility and modesty will carry you much farther than boldness ever could. The people who succeed this month won't be the loudest - they'll be the ones quietly making things better behind the scenes.

∙ Sum of the Month ∙

⭐︎ Your Key Word: Modesty. Don't puff your chest. It's not worth the fuss.
+ Oxen & Snakes:
You'll get a big boost this moon, careful not to blunder it.
- Rabbits: You're in over your head. Stop running around and take it easy.
± Goats & Pigs: Buddy up. It's basic math - divide woes and multiply wins.
 September 12th - October 9th

The Rooster has an incredible eye for detail, but every gift has its shadow. This month, use your strengths wisely. Notice the little things that everyone else misses. Catch the mistakes before they become problems. Improve old systems. Finish projects. But don't confuse discernment with criticism. Your job is to point out the last-minute details, not to peck at the ones you love. A sharp beak is useful for precision, not for picking on everyone around you.
One more warning: be careful what you wish for. Recognition feels good until the spotlight gets too hot. In a Yang Fire Horse year, there's already more than enough attention to go around. This month, the support role is often the strongest position to occupy. Let someone else stand center stage while you quietly ensure everything succeeds behind the curtains. Rabbits should watch themselves and avoid any unnecessary exposure. Snakes and Oxen will receive a welcome boost this month, but be sure to use it wisely - good fortune can disappear as quickly as it arose. Pigs and Goats would do well to lay low, conserve their energy, and let this busy stretch pass without forcing anything. If we stick together and play it safe, we'll all have a better chance of making it out of this mess with our head and neck still attatched.

009. Yang Fire Monkey Moon
The seasons are turning. Autumn is here, but don't think the heat is gone yet. We are moving from Goat to Monkey, from collective momentum to a creative stop. The problem is that many people are still carrying the habits of Summer. They've been running hard all year, pushing, chasing, building, expanding. Monkey Moon arrives with an important lesson: pump on those brakes. If you want to hav...
008. Yin Wood Goat Moon
Summer is beginning to soften. The wild galloping energy of Horse Moon starts to give way to something slower, gentler, and more reflective. Don't mistake that for weakness. Yin Wood Goat energy is subtle, but powerful. While Horse charges forward, Goat pauses to consider whether the path is worth taking at all. After months of fire, movement, and momentum, this moon asks a simple question:...
007. Yang Wood Horse Moon
Aiya... it's a Double Horse. If last month felt warm, this month will feel like somebody poured gasoline on the campfire. This Fire Horse already wants all the action, and now a Wood Horse steps up to feed the fire even further. The result is a massive momentum - but also volatility. People are quicker to act, quicker to react, and quicker to convince themselves they know exactly how to sav...
