Full Metal Rabbit Moon

Rabbits are known to be busy bodies. They're typically sweet, bubbly, and bright with an especially strong sensitive side. Those floppy ears and tender paws lend to keen connectivity and heightened intuition. That sixth sense of theres is all the more heightened amongst mystical Metal types. To that end, this would be a good time to get spiritual - how ever that looks for you.

As for the poetry of the moment, pray. It's not that hard. Shifu often says, "If you only have one prayer - let it be gratitude." Whether you believe in a God or not is irrelevant - you can still be grateful. We don't have to wait for Thanksgiving to foster a feeling of appreciation in our hearts.
To make this make sense, be thankful. It starts with counting our blessings and making a list of gratitudes. After thinking about it, maybe you can begin to feel it too. You might feel warm, emotional, or anxious. Some people even get chills up their spine. From that point, all that's left is action. Go out in the world and do something special for someone - keep the gratitude going.

✧ Acting Out of Appreciation ✧
Think It: Make a list of all your blessings.
Feel It: Let yourself get charged with emotions.
Plan It: How could you put that feeling to good use?
Do It: Share gratitude through acts of kindness.
Enjoy It: Witness your blessings bloom.

It's a Beautiful Morning

✧ Shifu Says âœ§

This week I got to share a memorable day with my family. It started off at the Antioch Speedway Motorpark where we got to see monster trucks rip up the arena! There was a 2-wheel competition where the trucks would get up and balance on either their front or hind wheels. There was a rally race for the best time and a freestyle trick competition to close out the show!

After that, we went straight to Limantour Beach (over two hours away) to attend the celebration of life party for my brother Ben that recently passed. It was so sweet to see just how big of a community Ben managed to gather - even in passing. He really knew how to throw a good party. My son got to play with the other kids in the sand, my wife got to enjoy the beauty of the beach, and I got to shed some good tears for my late buddy Ben-jammin.
Once the sun set and the bonfire erupted, I drove us all home. I probably put in a good 5 hours of driving that day - but it was worth it. My lower back hurts, my legs are stiff, but I'd do it all over again in an instant. Quite frankly, I'd drive to the moon and back if it could make a moment of joy for my son. Perhaps those of you with children could relate.
In closing, I've often heard that our lives flash before our eyes at the final moment of judgement. If this is true, when my time comes, I hope that I can spend a little extra time flashing over beautiful days like this one.

New Year Lectures

Step into the Yang Fire Horse Year with clarity, confidence, and direction. This special lecture bundle brings together two comprehensive discourses from our esteemed colleague, Seanan Zook - each offering a different lens on the abrasive year ahead. The first, recorded at Kokko Wellness (Feb 21), delivers a shorter, focused overview of the year’s key themes. The second, from Wudang West (Mar 3), goes deeper, delving the energetic landscape with practical insight you can actually apply.

Both of these lectures are available in HD video and plain audio formats, allowing you to watch, listen, revisit, and absorb all the material in whatever way fits your drift. Whether you’re studying closely or just keeping a pulse on the year, this bundle gives you the full spectrum. As a bonus, you’ll also receive 6 months of Tea Drunk: Astrology & Tea - an ongoing monthly show with Shifu and Seanan - so you can stay aligned with the lunar cycle as the year unfolds. That's a lot of Fire Horse horoscopes!
Truth be told, this content is nearly a month old and let's face it - no one likes to buy an old calendar. Right? That said, we're giving you a chance to save 20% on your pledge in exchange for all this curated content! But you better hurry, this deal ends soon, right in line with the new moon! Act now!

Waxing Metal Rabbit    We all know of the classic adage depicting the epic race between the old tortoise and the spry young hare - well, we're living it now. If you're aligned with the mainstream-machine-mind-clock-calendar-construct, then you're likely under the impression that Spring has only just begun - but that would be the rabbit in this instance. The real winner of the race is our turt...

Yin Metal Rabbit Moon    Shifu will often joke about the Yin Metal Rabbit relating to O.J. Simpson. If you think about it, it kind of makes sense - at least from a Chinese Astrology perspective. Look at a zodiac wheel and you'll find the Rabbit precariously tucked between two beasts of prey - Dragons above and Tigers below - just like O.J. being chased in his white Bronco by police cars AND h...

Metal Tiger Moon Wanes    It's the tail end of the Tiger moon, and quite frankly, Tigers don't have the best batting average - they miss far more than they hit. Fortunately, the hits are often big enough to split the difference, but just like a Tiger's stripes, its life is rather "off and on"/"feast or famine." It can be quite the rollercoaster.    As for the poetry of the moment, hone in. Y...
