The Daoist Outlook・095
Happy Dragon Boat!
Each and every year on the Fifth Day of the Fifth Moon, we get to enjoy a Dragon Boat Festival. It's common to wrap and steam bundles of glutinous rice called Zong Zi, and share them amongst neighbors. This is the time to celebrate the pinnacle of Yang - where all systems are GO!

As for the poetry of the moment, let's get going! It's time to race - if not with others, then maybe at least with yourself. Look at where you were last year, compare yourself to yesterday, and note your growth. Whatever sign post or landmark you have to measure yourself against, this is the time to shoot for the stars and see how far your boat can take you.
To make this make sense, DON'T hold back. If there was ever a time to push the petal to the metal, this is it - figuratively speaking of course. This holiday marks the absolute peak expression of Yang, so get out there and stir the pot. Just make sure whatever you're getting into maintains a flavor of finishing - we don't want a bunch of loose ends following us into Fall.
✧ GO! GO! GO! ✧
Let Loose: Don't hold yourself back
Cowabunga: Throw caution to the wind
No More Excuses: Get out of your own way
Focus on the Finish: Stick the end game
Get it Done: Then go home to rest
This is It!!!
